Lighthouse Games Studio Ltd. provides 1 Second Game. This policy covers the Android game, its online accounts, advertising, purchases and optional sharing. Our website and the services linked below have their own privacy information.
Google Play Games and game accounts
Google Play Games provides leaderboards and achievements. The game receives your Play Games player identifier and display name. Scores and achievement progress are sent to Google Play Games; profile information and scores may be visible to other players according to your Google settings.
When connected to Google Play Games, the game automatically creates or restores an internal LighthouseGames account for VIP features and purchases. Our server verifies a single-use Play Games authorization code with Google before associating your Play Games player identifier with that account. No separate Google account sign-in is required. We do not receive your Google password or request your email address. The free game can be played without online sign-in.
Our LighthouseGames service, hosted on Microsoft Azure, stores your game account identifier, Play Games association, display name, verified supporter purchases and VIP totals. The public VIP leaderboard can show your display name, rank, support total and tier.
Activity and technical information
While signed in to our service, the game reports session activity, game and player identifiers, platform and app version. We store account creation and activity times and session counts to understand new and returning players. Country is estimated from the connection's IP address; session-reporting tables retain the country rather than the raw IP address. This reporting does not record individual taps or round timing. Hosting and service providers may retain technical logs needed for operation, security and diagnostics.
Purchases
Google Play processes payments through Unity In-App Purchasing. The game and our service process product identifiers, purchase tokens, order and verification information, and a pseudonymous purchase-account identifier to deliver purchases, restore Remove Ads, prevent fraud and calculate VIP totals. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Pending purchase information is stored locally until delivery or verification finishes. Google retains its own purchase records.
Advertising
Unity LevelPlay and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, approximate location, device and app identifiers, operating-system and network information, ad impressions and interactions for ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics and fraud prevention. The Android game uses basic ads with personalised advertising disabled and sends no-consent and do-not-sell/share signals. Basic ads still use technical information. Remove Ads disables in-game advertising once the entitlement is recognised.

Local data and sharing
Scores, progress, preferences, purchase-recovery information and deletion status are stored on your device. A short-lived LighthouseGames session is encrypted using Android Keystore and excluded from device backups. Device backups may retain some data. If you choose to share a result, the game creates an image and opens Android's sharing interface. The recipient or service you choose receives the shared content; the game does not automatically upload that image to our servers. Removing the game does not delete Google Play Games records, purchases or your server account.
Request account and data deletion
In the game, open Game Menu > Delete Account and confirm. Unfinished purchases must finish first. The game waits for the server to accept your request and lets you retry if the connection fails.
You can also request deletion without installing the game: email [email protected] with the subject 1 Second Game Android account deletion. Include your game display name and enough information to identify your profile. We may ask for proportionate verification before acting. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or payment-card details.
Deletion removes your LighthouseGames profile, activity records and public VIP listing. Transaction records remain under an opaque identifier where needed for purchase verification, refunds, fraud prevention and legal obligations. A one-way hash of the deleted game identity prevents automatic recreation; creating a new profile requires explicit confirmation and previous VIP totals do not transfer. This does not delete your Google account, Google Play Games scores or achievements, Google Play purchase history, local scores or accounts for other games. Eligible Remove Ads purchases can be restored through Google Play.
Purposes, retention and your rights
We use information to provide online features, authenticate accounts, deliver purchases, operate leaderboards, understand service use, prevent abuse, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, our legal grounds include providing requested services, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the game, legal obligations and consent where required.
We share information with the providers described above as needed, and where required by law or to protect rights and security. Providers may process data outside your country, with applicable safeguards. We retain data as long as needed for these purposes, taking account of account status, outstanding purchases and legal requirements. Providers apply their own retention rules. We use access controls and provider security features; no system can guarantee complete security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain your information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Use Google's account and Play Games settings for data Google controls.
Audience and contact
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, contact us. Google Play's content rating and family controls also apply.
