Safari Cannon - Privacy Policy for Android

Lighthouse Games Studio ("we", "us", or "our") provides Safari Cannon (the "Game"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you play the Android version of the Game or contact us about it.
Information we handle
Google Play Games and your player profile
The Game uses Google Play Games to sign you in to its online features. When sign-in succeeds, we use information that verifies your Google Play Games identity to authenticate you with Microsoft PlayFab. A linked PlayFab player profile is created if one does not already exist. PlayFab stores player identifiers and a display name based on your Google Play Games name. We do not receive your Google Account password.
Scores and leaderboards
When you are signed in, the Game sends your new best distance scores to PlayFab and retrieves scores and leaderboard positions. Your display name, best distance and rank may be visible to other players in leaderboards and markers along the course. Where available, profile images supplied by the platform or online profile may also be displayed. Avoid using a display name or image that reveals information you do not want other players to see.
Technical information
Connecting to Google, PlayFab or other online services exposes your IP address to the service receiving the connection. PlayFab uses your IP address to estimate your approximate location, such as your country, region or city, for service analytics and security. This does not use GPS or request access to your device's precise location.
The Google Play Games SDK collects information about service activity and interactions, diagnostic information and device or other identifiers to provide game services, analyse usage, improve reliability and protect its services. This collection can occur even though Unity Analytics is disabled. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms.
Google and PlayFab may also process technical information about your device, software and authentication to operate, secure and troubleshoot their services.
The current Android Game does not enable Unity Analytics, Unity Ads or Unity cloud crash reporting. If you send us diagnostic logs or screenshots when requesting support, we receive the information contained in those files.
Information on your device
The Game stores settings, local progress and personal bests on your device. Online scores and player records are stored separately by PlayFab. Device backups may contain local Game data, depending on your backup settings.
Support requests
If you contact us, we receive your email address and information you choose to provide, such as your player name, a description of a problem, screenshots or diagnostic files. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes or payment card details.
How we use and share information
We use information to authenticate players, maintain online profiles and best scores, display leaderboards, understand service usage and reliability, respond to support and privacy requests, protect our services and meet legal obligations.
Microsoft PlayFab processes online player information on our behalf. Google provides Google Play Games and the Google Play store and processes information under its own terms. Relevant privacy information is available here:
We may use hosting and support providers to operate these services and respond to you. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect people or our legal rights, or as part of a transfer of the Game, subject to applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The Game does not display third-party advertising. It may contain links to our other games.
Google processes your purchase of the Game through Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Your choices
You can play local gameplay without completing Google Play Games sign-in. Online score and leaderboard features require a successful sign-in and an internet connection. You can manage Google Play Games sign-in and available profile privacy settings through Google's controls.
Signing out or uninstalling the Game does not automatically delete your online player profile or scores. Uninstalling removes local app data, but copies may remain in device backups under your backup settings.
Request deletion of your player profile and data
The Android Game's Options menu includes a Delete Account link to these instructions. Opening this page does not automatically delete your profile; use the email request below to start the process.
To request deletion of your Safari Cannon PlayFab player profile and associated personal information, email [email protected] with the subject "Safari Cannon data deletion". Include your Google Play Games player name and tell us that you play Safari Cannon on Android. You can also request deletion of support correspondence or other personal information we hold about you.
We may ask for additional information to verify which player profile belongs to you before acting on the request. Do not send your Google password or authentication codes. Deleting your profile removes its associated online scores and leaderboard entries, subject to the limited retention described below. Local saves and Google's own records are managed separately.
If you sign in to the Game again after deletion, a new PlayFab profile may be created. Requests about information Google controls independently, including your Google Account or Google Play Games records, should be made through Google's privacy and account controls.
Retention
We retain online player information for as long as needed to provide your profile, best scores and leaderboard features. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve requests and related follow-up. We assess retention based on the purpose of the information, whether it is still needed and applicable legal requirements.
Limited information may need to be retained to comply with law, resolve disputes or protect legal rights. Backup copies are removed through the applicable backup retention cycle.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide requested services, for legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Game and responding to requests, to meet legal obligations, or with consent where required. Contact us to exercise your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International processing and security
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, international transfers are subject to legally recognised safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your information.
Connections from the Game to PlayFab use HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, but no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and families
Parents and guardians should review the Game's store information and supervise a child's use of online features and public player names. Google's age, parental consent and supervised-account rules apply to its services. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

The Game may open our website, store pages or other external services. Those services have their own privacy policies. This policy covers the Android Game and related support. Our website privacy policy describes information handled when you visit this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game or our information practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or seek consent where required by law.
