Death in the Water Xbox Update: Crash Fix & Surround Sound

We’ve fixed a bug that could cause Death in the Water to crash on Xbox Series X|S. Alongside this fix, we’ve optimized the game’s performance and added support for 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound.

If a crash interrupted your last dive, this update addresses that issue. We’ve also worked on performance to make the underwater survival experience run more smoothly.

For players with a compatible surround sound setup, Death in the Water now supports both 5.1 and 7.1 audio, bringing the sounds of the ocean into your room.
