Manage oxygen, stamina and poison, and make the most of diver upgrades, chum grenades and flash bangs.
Diver upgrades #
Diver upgrades improve the abilities that keep you moving and breathing. They are separate from the individual weapon upgrades.

Chum grenades #
Chum grenades release a lure that draws nearby creatures toward the canister. They can create a distraction while you reposition, reload or return toward supplies.
Upgrades increase the number you can carry and the time the lure remains active.
Flash bangs #
Flash bangs disorient and blind creatures during attacks. They give you a window to move or prepare another weapon.
Upgrades increase carrying capacity and the duration of the stun.
Health kits and anti-venom #
Health kits restore health and are used through the health-kit action. Keep track of your remaining supply before you commit to a long fight.
Lionfish stings cause a temporary poison effect. Anti-venom kits reduce that effect, while a thicker wetsuit shortens its duration. Check your device’s controls for using recovery items.
Ammo and oxygen pickups #
Supply pickups include ammunition for the Slinger, Manta Ray, Kraken, Hellfire and Poseidon, as well as support items and mini oxygen tanks.
Carry limits matter: a pickup can be unavailable when you already have a full supply. Return to useful supply locations when your reserves run low.
What should you upgrade first? #
Choose according to the problem you are trying to solve. Improve oxygen when exploring, sprint and recovery when escaping, reload speed when attacks interrupt you, or ammunition capacity when you run dry.
Upgrade descriptions in the game show the next tier and its cost. Read those values before spending your treasure.
