Getting started GAME WIKI
Beginner’s guide
Make your first dive count: learn the controls, manage oxygen, find supplies and turn treasure into better gear.

Start with Training #
Training introduces movement, aiming, weapons and the basic diving actions. Use it to practise looking around while swimming, switching weapons and interacting with nearby objects before starting the Campaign.
The game supports mouse and keyboard, controller and touch controls on supported platforms. Open the in-game controls screen for the bindings used by your device.
Your first priorities #
- Read the Objectives panel and listen to the radio briefing before setting off.
- Find the oxygen and ammunition near the marked supply area. Remember how to return there.
- Check your health, oxygen, stamina and ammunition regularly.
- Search for treasure while the water is quiet, but keep enough oxygen to return safely.
- Reload during a break in the attack and keep a support item ready.
Oxygen is a survival resource #
Your oxygen supply is limited during combat dives. Oxygen stations and mini oxygen tank pickups help you replenish it. Follow the HUD markers and low-oxygen warning instead of assuming that reaching the surface will refill your tank.
Long detours into caves are easier to plan when you know where your next refill is. Upgrade oxygen capacity if you often have to abandon exploration.
Build good combat habits #
The Slinger speargun is your general-purpose starting weapon. Aim carefully, allow time to reload and switch to another unlocked weapon when the situation changes. Shark damage depends on hit location: head and neck hits are strongest, while tail and fin hits deal less damage than body hits.
Stamina limits how long you can sprint. Leave yourself some reserve for escaping an incoming attack. Chum grenades and flash bangs can give you room to recover.
Prepare between dives #
Collectible treasure gives you gold for weapon unlocks and upgrades. Visit the upgrade menu to improve the weapons you use most and the diver abilities you rely on.
More weapons give you more options, but upgrades to reload speed, ammunition capacity and oxygen can be just as useful. Choose improvements that address the reason your last dive was difficult.
