Getting started GAME WIKI
Survival mode guide
Prepare for escalating waves: manage supplies, create breathing room and keep your run alive when the ocean closes in.

Survive the next wave #
Survival is the game’s Horde Mode: repeated waves of creatures test your combat and resource management. The HUD tracks your level, kills and score as the run develops.
Unlike Campaign, your focus is on handling the next attack and staying supplied rather than following the story’s investigation.
Use every gap in the attack #
- Reload a weapon before the next group reaches you.
- Check oxygen and health while you have room to move.
- Collect useful ammunition and recovery items.
- Keep track of the supply chests and the route back to them.
- Look around before committing to a pickup.
Keep room to move #
An open route gives you more time to respond than a position where terrain traps you. Use landmarks to stay oriented while checking several directions.
Sprint is useful for an escape, but its stamina and recovery limits matter. Avoid using your entire reserve before a threat closes in.
Use your whole loadout #
A precise weapon can help with small or distant targets, while rapid-fire weapons and the Kraken shotgun offer other ways to respond to a crowded attack.
Chum grenades distract enemies and flash bangs interrupt attacks. Use them to create an opportunity to reposition or recover.
Improve the next run #
After a run, identify what ended it: low oxygen, empty ammunition, missed smaller threats or a poor escape route. Focus your next attempt on that specific problem.
Learn to recognise the marine threats and practise switching weapons during the quiet moments. Consistent preparation helps you survive longer than firing continuously.
